The February half term sees the Community Team hold a Train Like A Chief coaching day at Truro College! Due to RFU COVD-19 regulations the camp will focus on skill development and fun games.
The structure of the day will be slightly different from normal due to our Coronavirus measures. On arrival you must queue for registration with a 1m gap between others which will be shown by a cone on the floor. We will have hand sanitiser available and we will explain on the day but ask that you please inform your child that under no circumstance must they share water bottles, shake hands with other children and try their best to not touch their face.
Group sizes will be limited and we will try our best to ensure your child is with similar aged people however there is a small chance they may get put with children one year older or one year younger. All Community staff at the camp will undergo in house Coronavirus testing measures prior to the camp.
Camp registration will open at 9:30am at Truro College, with a prompt start at 10am. Please be aware that changing facilities will not be available so ensure your child is prepared for the day.
Attendees will require:
• Full training kit
• Appropriate footwear (plastic or short studded boots advised)
• Trainers if prone to blisters
• Plenty of water/juice
• Packed lunch
• Weather appropriate protection (sun cream/waterproofs)
• Hand sanitiser (optional)
We look forward to seeing you at Truro College on 17th February.
